WORSHIP ARTS

Our Worship Arts Ministry at BVLC is blessed with many gifted and talented individuals who willingly give their talents as a praise offering to the Lord. We strive to make this very important aspect of our faith welcoming and meaningful. It is God’s grace that saves us and we thank and praise Him in worship.  There are many areas for individuals to serve, giving of their time and talents.  We are committed to serving our Savior and strive to enhance our goal to Connect, Grow and Serve.  As you can see below, there are many areas to consider becoming a part of this team.

BVLC HAS MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE...

ADULT CHOIR
• Adult choir that sings at our 8:30 traditional service and leads the congregation with hymn singing and special music during worship services September through June.  We also present two concerts per year to the community.  This group meets Saturday mornings at 9:30 for rehearsal.
ORGANISTS
We have a team of regular organists who play beautifully as they lead our congregation in singing on our brand new organ which was installed in 2020.
WORSHIP TEAM
• Our worship teams consists of guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocalists that leads worship for our 10:45 blended service.  This group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45.
• mid-week and other specials services/events.
BAND, ORCHESTRA, SPECIAL MUSIC
• During the choir off months, we turn to our talented members to provide special music, whether that is a vocal soloist, vocal ensemble, instrumentalists, instrumental ensemble.
SOUND, LIGHTS, VISUAL
• This is a group of individuals that provide support for sound, lighting and visual presentations for all Sunday worships services, mid-week and other specials services/events.
WORSHIP ASSISTANT
• This individual is in charge of ushers, greeters, communion assistants and the crucifer for all Sunday worship services, mid-week and other specials services/events.
USHERS, GREETERS, COMMUNION ASSISTANTS, CRUCIFER, LECTORS
• This is a group of individuals who help make our church warm and welcoming, from greeting people at the door as they enter, to making them feel a part of our church family throughout their time here with us.

OUR VISION
Out of thankfulness for God's love in Jesus Christ, who has blessed us by His grace both past and present, we are compelled, with all of our strength and tireless effort, to share God's love with all people in our community. Accordingly our primary mission focus will be families and youth.
