We are glad you have taken the time to look at our website! Bella Vista Lutheran Church stands as testament to God’s grace poured out on the people of Bella Vista. We are a vital Lutheran Christian congregation with a history of providing excellent worship opportunities to our community. We stand on that history and are looking toward the future with excitement at what God is doing in our midst!
We are a Gospel church. That means that we are an instrument of God’s grace. We are to bring Good News of salvation to the suffering sinner and lost soul through the preaching of God’s Word. We tell the story of Jesus and His love for us. “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). We are blessed to share the Good News of His grace and forgiveness. And we are reminded of the importance of God’s grace in Jesus Christ. As St. Paul tells us, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
With all of life in constant motion around us, it is easy for us to forget that God loves us. This is why we must return time and time again to hear His Word for our assurance, to hear Him say again, “I love you.” It is my prayer that Bella Vista Lutheran Church be known to you, and throughout our community, for the sharing this Good News in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Accordingly, our primary mission focus will be families and youth.

REV. DR. PAUL HASS PASTOR
Pastor Hass is husband to Camilla and father to sons, Isaac and David. Pastor loves to ride his Harley Davidson with his bride and with our motorcycle "gang", the Sonday Riders. He and Camilla are a great team who excel in the art of hospitality. Pastor Hass loves to answer the tough theological questions that our visitors and inquirers have. He has a heart for God's people and shepherds this flock with tenacity!

MS. SARAH MORRIS
Sarah is a native Texan and dog mom to Phoebe. She enjoys reading, crafts, board games, and exploring God's beautiful creation.
Sarah loves connecting children, youth, and families to Jesus and to each other. |
REV. CHRIS GORSHE ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pastor Gorshe is husband to Bethany and father to eight children: William, Austin, Renatte, Asher, Faith, Zack, Stella, and Linley. He enjoys singing, watching tv and movies, and spending time with his family. Pastor Gorshe is our Congregational Life team leader. He enjoys making hospital and shut-in visits, preaching, and teaching Bible study. His favorite thing in the world...besides his wife Bethany…is that first cup of coffee in the morning! We love having Pastor Gorshe at BVLC!
