What we do - Make disciples!
Bella Vista Lutheran Church exists to make disciples. Our Family Life Ministry provides safe and welcome opportunities that focuses on children, youth, and families. We encourage them to CONNECT with God and each other, GROW in their faith, and SERVE those around them.

Sometimes it happens in Worship...
...but it's more than sitting in a pew.
Kids and youth age 2 through high school CONNECT each week to GROW through age appropriate engaging Bible lessons from 9:45-10:30 am. Adult Bible Classes meet at the same time. Each week children are invited up for a message just for them.

Throughout the year BVLC hosts various events with fun for the whole family. Some of our current events are:

High school students get together every month for special youth group events. Teens CONNECT at fun events like Teen Game Night or going to the Waterpark. They SERVE BVLC’s church members and the community together. Teens GROW in their faith through Bible study and events like the LCMS National Youth Gathering.
Kids in Worship
At BVLC, we celebrate families worshipping together!
We offer a Toddler Play Room and Nursing Mothers Room if you need to step out of worship with your little one. Quiet activity bags for kids are also available.
Preteens and teens are encouraged to SERVE as acolyte, crucifer, lector, usher, praise team member, and sound tech.

Confirmation
Preteens and teenagers dig into Bible stories and key Lutheran doctrines at home with their parents using provided curriculum. Once a month the youth and their parents get together at church to review the lessons with a Pastor or Family Life Minister.
This program helps families GROW in their faith together and gives youth the opportunity to discover their Christian faith for themselves.
