Education

Our Education Ministry creates opportunities for Bible study. We learn the basics of Christian faith, and learn to go deeper into our understanding of the Bible, and our abilities to relate God’s Word to others. Within these groups, particularly Adult Bible Study and Small groups, we study God’s Word, apply it to living, and develop a network of those we support and those that support us in our Christian journey.

For 2012 we will continue with the Adult Education ministries plus new ventures.  We have been blessed with the opportunity to send at least ten mentors to Cooper Elementary School to demonstrate Christian love to youth reaching out for an adult friend.  May God bless the mentors as they use the love that Christ has given them and share it with these young people. Another goal for 2012 is to reach out to the younger adults in ways that connect to them by using current media methods.  Look for our new exciting net fishing events in 2012.

The Education team’s goal is to help train congregation members to grow in their faith through the various Bible classes, to provide opportunities to put their faith into practice in the community, and to provide opportunities for the community to get to know Bella Vista Lutheran Church.
